Ramon Guajardo Sr.
Growing up on a farm in West Texas, Ramon Sr. never envisioned working in the development and construction industry. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University, Ramon Sr. served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After serving his country, Ramon Sr. with his wife and child in tow, relocated to the DFW area in the early 1970s.
From this point forward, Ramon Sr. worked in various management positions at a College and with different municipalities. It wasn’t until Ramon Sr. was employed by the City of Fort Worth, that his career became established. During this period Ramon Sr. earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. After a very successful and respected 27-year career with the City of Fort Worth, Ramon Sr. retired as an Assistant City Manager in 2001. It was at this time that the Fort Worth Housing Authority requested that Ramon Sr. consult them with the upcoming task of selling a major piece of property that provided housing to more than 350 households. From that point forward Ramon Sr. started a new career as an expert in the development of affordable housing. Ramon Sr. has come to gain the respect of clients such as the Fort Worth Housing Authority, the City of Fort Worth, the City of Granbury, the Granbury Housing Authority, the Denton Housing Authority, and private developers within the housing industry.
Personally, Ramon Sr. loves to spend time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Either at home, outdoors, or at the beach of Port Aransas. Ramon Sr’s love for sports is shown in his support for Texas Tech, TCU, Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Mavericks. Ramon Sr. and his wife enjoy the arts and are often seen at local plays, musicals, and operas. Active in the community, he serves on specific non-profit boards and committees that benefit local child development and education.

Ramon Guajardo Jr.
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Ramon Jr. began working in the construction industry before earning a construction engineering degree from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University) in 2003. After graduating from SWT, Ramon Jr. began working for Thos. S. Byrne, Ltd. and worked his way up to managing the construction of several Healthcare, Higher Education, Museum, Aviation, School District, and Private Residence projects. Ramon Jr.’s experience with Byrne included Program Management, Project Management, Estimating, Scheduling, Cost Control, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Document Management, and Project Closeout/Turnover.
After 13 plus years with Thos. S. Byrne, Ramon Jr. joined Ramel Co. to lead the efforts in providing Program and Construction Management Services, while assisting with the in-place Development and Financial Consulting Services. Ramon Jr. leads the Ramel Team in client communications, program and design development management, construction management including review of in-place work, document management, and on-site progress review and acceptance.
Personally, Ramon Jr. spends his time with his wife and two sons outdoors as much as possible. He enjoys sporting events, camping, hiking, grilling, hunting and fishing. Ramon Jr. also serves on the Board of Directors for Leadership Fort Worth and as a volunteer and mentor to the Leaders Kids program.

Daniel Anderson
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Daniel is serving as Director of Operations. With an elite record in construction services, Daniel was raised in the architecture and construction industry. His first internship was at a small local architecture firm when he was only nine years old. His passion only grew over time, and he advanced to his first official construction job at an uncle’s electrical company while in college.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a B.S in Construction Science and a minor in Business Administration, Daniel worked for Byrne Construction Services for 13 years where he advanced over time to serve, concurrently as become Director of Virtual Design and Construction, Senior Estimator and Senior Project Manager. Noteworthy projects include: the DFW Airport Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program (TRIP) Terminals B and E, Texas Wesleyan University Martin Student University Center, the Grapevine Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Headquarters, San Antonio Northeast ISD Bill Walker Natatorium, and many more. Other noteworthy clients include: Texas Wesleyan University, University of North Texas, PepsiCo/Frito Lay, USAA, Lockheed Martin and municipalities including: Arlington, Plano, Lewisville, Richland Hills, Azle and Seguin. At Ramel, Daniel now oversees and manages all construction related operations and deliverables to be performed and executed.
Daniel holds a Certificate in Construction Management – Building Information Modeling. Outside of work, Daniel can be found spending time with his wife, two kids, (with one on the way) and Fenway, the family Cane Corso. He appreciates anything sports related. In addition, he competes in adult soccer and football leagues of his own, and coaches his children’s football, baseball, and soccer teams. When he’s not spending time watching, playing, or coaching sports, you can find Daniel in the outdoors, golfing, hunting or socializing with friends and family.

Hilary Boen
Hilary Boen joined the Ramel team in 2022 after working in municipal government for over 23 years. She started working in parks and recreation as a lifeguard and swim instructor and over the years was promoted through the ranks of Aquatic Supervisor and Recreation Manager. In 2015, Hilary was provided the opportunity to serve as the City’s project manager for the new multigenerational recreation center and shepherded the project from design through construction and then initial operations. During this time, she discovered her love of managing capital improvement projects and took on managing multiple other CIP projects for the parks and recreation department.
Hilary’s thirst for learning is evidenced by her regular enrollment in educational opportunities. She started her college years by attending Cottey College in Nevada, MO and receiving her AA and AS. Hilary then transferred to the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. She then took a position at a corporate law firm in Dallas while attending Southeastern Paralegal School at night. After determining law was not the career field for her, Hilary took a full-time position with the City of Lewisville while she worked on her Master of Science degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies. While in this program, Hilary published her thesis “ADA Compliance and Accessibility of Aquatic Facilities in the North Texas Area.”
In her free time, Hilary enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two dogs. She can often be found enjoying live music, baking, kayaking, swimming and puzzles. Hilary is also member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization, which promotes and provides life-changing educational opportunities for women.

Ben Marr
Ben Marr grew up in Fort Worth where he enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2011. Ben relocated to Twentynine Palms, California for his training and schooling. After completion of training, Ben was stationed in Camp Pendleton California. In 2015 he finished his enlistment to pursue his degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. While in school he enlisted in the Marine Corps reserves from 2016-2020. Ben graduated with his Bachelor of Science in 2018 from UTA. He then went on to join the Ramel Company after a short tour in Latvia with the reserves in early 2019. Ben’s responsibilities include weekly reporting of all active construction projects, document control for all projects and review of technical documents related to testing, coordination, and payment.
Outside of work, you can find Ben either at the ice rink where he plays on a veteran hockey team, various golf courses, concerts, or hanging out with his wife and 2 corgis.
